How many words exist in your HTML before a single script runs. Most AI crawlers never run one, so anything appearing only after hydration is invisible to them.
Structured data parsed and validated, llms.txt, answer-first headings, and whether the page states plainly what it is and who stands behind it.
No, and nothing honest can. A live AI answer is different for every person who asks, changes hour to hour, and can’t be verified from outside. What this checks is whether the engines can reach your site, read it, and understand it well enough to cite it — which is the part that’s actually measurable, and the part you can fix.
If GPTBot or PerplexityBot is disallowed in your robots.txt, that engine never sees your pages, so your business cannot appear in its answers at all. No amount of good content changes it. Plenty of sites block them by accident, inheriting a robots.txt from a template or an old agency.
Most AI crawlers do not run JavaScript. If your words only appear after the page loads and hydrates in a browser, those crawlers see an effectively blank page. This check reads your raw HTML and counts what is there before any script runs.
The check itself is free, needs no sign-up, and stores nothing — the address you type is used to fetch the page and is not written down anywhere. The one exception is the offer under your results: if you choose to leave your email there, that address is stored, along with the site you checked and its score, so I can actually read it and reply. Nothing else is kept, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Then the plumbing is right and the next question is content — whether your pages actually answer the questions your customers ask, in a form an engine can quote. That is the work behind Answer Engine Optimization, and it’s what the SEO & AEO page covers.
15-minute call. I'll walk through your results, tell you which findings actually matter for your business, and what I'd do first — even when the answer is “nothing yet.”
